I made a playlist with the setlist from last nights show and i’m just jamming that on repeat during work
Does anyone know if there's any VIP seats available for this tour? The Philly venue has a VIP section but doesn't seem to have any on sale.
I don’t know Philly venues, but the only VIP through Andrew is a separate thing before the show and doesn’t even include a ticket to the show. If they sell VIP seats, it’s likely they are sold out since tickets have been on sale for just under a week with many presales.
I've seen the vast majority of the songs in Andrew's catalog live but I have never seen a single People and Things song so that's an extra bonus for this tour for me.
I feel like Amy, I and Television were really the only 2 he’d play off it for a long time. Pretty sure that’s all I saw live until the cruise.
JM are support for Mayday Parade in Australia. I don't listen to Mayday Parade and it's a 4 hour round trip for me to see the JM support set. Anyone know how many Everything In Transit tunes are likely to feature?
Other folks might know more, but there were 8 from EIT on the most recent entry (February 22nd) on Setlist.fm: Jack’s Mannequin Setlist at Innings Festival 2025
Beyond sad to be missing the Boston date. A work event got scheduled that day, and as the lead on it, I can't miss. My grandmother just passed too, and services are this week. Just not in the cards. Will be the first Boston Andrew show in a solid decade that I've missed.
Summer weather finally showing up, perfect timing for EIT. It still crushes start to finish. Man, I want the youthful summer vibes back from when I first heard this album… The Glass Passenger is more of a fall album to me. Strong emotions tied to it. Album starts off incredibly strong. People and Things was very hit or miss for me personally, but I still think “My Racing Thoughts” and “Restless Dream” are great. “There, There Katie” from the Dear Jack EP is so beautiful. I really hadn’t given this discography its due since the 10 year tour and distractions from solo stuff and SC. The catalogue magnificently captures that era of his life, which I think he’s alluded to.
Listed my ticket for tonight's Boston show on AXS; face value, if anyone is looking for a last-minute ticket
Show in NYC was good. Weather cleared up. The venue wasn’t as bad as I anticipated but would be terrifying in the event of an emergency evacuation. Putting 3,500 people on top of a building. They did a nice job of including old video footage and photos during some songs on the screens. Otherwise the AI video graphics were just there and sometimes bizarre. Setlist was good and it seems like he’s trading out deep cuts for the shows.
Can’t believe EIT is 20 today. Can never say enough what a perfect album it is. Perfect summer album. Tells a great story and the 8 minute epic to close out the story of the summer it tells is just so good.
