One Tree Hill performance for those who haven't seen it. Performed The Mix Tape and Dark Blue. The Mix Tape Dark Blue
Sorry for the unnecessary bump in this thread but after almost 14 years I just now realized my track listing for The Glass Passenger in my iTunes is completely out of order. Pretty sure I originally torrented it haha
that happened to me as well, up until like maybe 2 years ago, The Resolution was the only opener to the album I had ever known. I still can't listen to it the correct way.
If I remember correctly (which… questionable), they were tinkering with the track list forever, which might explain that.
What was the leaked tracklist? All I remember is “The Resolution” as the opener. P.S. That retrospective is definitely one of my favorite things I’ve written!
I took a screenshot before I updated it. 1. The Resolution 2. Spinning 3. Swim 4. American Love 5. What Gets You Off 6. Crashing 7. Annie Use Your Telescope 8. Suicide Blonde 9. Drop Out – The So Unknown 10. Lullaby 11. Bloodshot 12. Orphans 13. Caves Edit: It's not too different than the actual one. Can't believe it took me this long to realize
I'm weird and play around with track listings in my itunes...and "hide" songs i dont like as there are a few on the original version that i dont really care for. My glass passenger is: 1. Resolution (my version had this as the opener for a decade for some reason) 2. Dear jack 3. Spinning 4. Swim 5. American Love 6. Sleazy Wednesday 7. Crashin 8. There There Katie 9. Annie 10. Doris Day 11. Drop out 12. Hammers 13. Cell phone 14. California 15. At full speed Essentially just found spots to fill in the b-sides (my god the songs he "passed" on). At full speed always sounded like a good closer.
Hahahhahaha seriously. Like, tell me you illegally downloaded the album in 2008 and have never once listened to it legally without using those exact words. I mean, hey, I had the leak, too. But it was replaced as soon as the album was out.
I remember the incorrect tracklist being called out in the AP.net thread the day the thing leaked, so I didn't have that order for very long. But I definitely would have noticed the different tracklist on the album art! (And then, obviously, having bought this album at least twice, I'd have noticed it then too.)
I don’t recall when I switched up the track order to the correct one. Probably sooner than later as I am very much a listen in order person.
I've always kind of liked how andrew mcmahon seemed to have 4 seasonal releases in a row (In my opinion of course lol)....like obviously EIT is a GOAT summer album....TGP always felt like fall to me....People & Things, my least favorite, always felt like a cold winter album to me.....and then his first album as AMITW had a bit of a Spring feel to it for me, though my association with that season for that album is admittedly a bit looser than the other 3.
For me, EIT is summer and the other three of those are all fall. Zombies is also summer. Upside Down Flowers is fall/winter.
