Kill the Messenger Miss Delaney Into the Airwaves Rescued is probably my favorite song on the album at this point, but KTM was for the longest time. Have to pay it some dues. Will be happy if Rescued wins though
Morning totals! Round 1 Rescued - 7 Kill the Messenger - 7 Miss Delaney - 4 MFEO: Part 1- Made For Each Other, Part 2- You Can Breathe - 10 Dark Blue - 11 Into the Airwaves - 3
Rescued Made For Each Other Airwaves If you can't tell from my user photo, I'm... kind of a big AM fan.
Round 1 current totals! One super close match, one with a strong lead and one with just a slight chance of catching up. Rescued - 11 Kill the Messenger - 10 Miss Delaney - 5 MFEO: Part 1- Made For Each Other, Part 2- You Can Breathe - 16 Dark Blue - 14 Into the Airwaves - 7 Note: I’ll probably leave this open until tonight due to the first match and since it’s a new bracket and I want to give time for people to find it and join in. Also, does anyone feel confident in knowing every single B-side? Feel free to PM me, I don’t want to miss any. Also, should Miss California count as a B-side? It’s technically a bonus track but in my mind it’s the closing track. Thoughts?
Kill The Messenger Miss Delaney Dark Blue This is definitely my favorite Jack’s Mannequin release. So good! The second matchup was the toughest for me, but Miss Delaney won out because I’m not a huge fan of MFEO - Pt. 1. I think it’s just ok. Into The Airwaves is awesome and I feel bad voting against it but Dark Blue has always been one of my favorite Jack’s Mannequin songs and it’s lyrics are more meaningful to me.
It is officially labeled as a “bonus track”. But it was on my CD and I always had it as a part of my album experience.
Yeah, you can probably go either way on that. It's technically the same kind of deal as "Into the Airwaves," I just always felt like Everything in Transit needed that bonus/epilogue chapter, whereas The Glass Passenger ends pretty decisively for me after "Caves."
I feel like Airwaves is officially part of the album though, where Cali is titled a bonus track. But they function in a very similar way.
