Jacks Mannequin Tease

Looks like it very probably could be a 20 year for his first Jack's album which is his best album front to back imo.

 

I hope it’s a tour where it’s called Jack’s Mannequin, but it’s just the members of Something Corporate, and they only play Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness songs.

 

At first it was thought to be a 20th EIT Anniversary tour. But it might have shifted to a full blown Jack’s tour. We will find out Fri and Mon.

 

I cannot believe that this is 20 years old now, that album was great from front to back. Hit at a time when I first starting dating my wife. Great memories.

 

For maximum confusion, there is an intermission where William Tell comes out on stage and plays The Pop Underground EP from 2013 that was simply billed as "Andrew McMahon" before the Wilderness part got added

 

SoCo and JM co-headlining tour where each group swaps members and setlists.

 

EIT is one of my favorite albums top to bottom of all time. Truly a classic in our neck of the woods.

 

Tommy Lee playing the drums on that album is the most random thing of all time

 

Whaaaaaaaaaaat!? All these years and I never knew that. That really is super random. Well, the drumming was good, so I guess it makes sense

 

Story goes, Tommy really vibed on Me and the Moon, had Andrew come out and work on some of his songs for an album. Then later, during Transit production, it was all samples and loops, and Andrew asked Tommy to work on his album (Transit) and they cut all the drums in one night. Wild story.

 

Seems like it's going to be a "Made For Each Other" tour, no? I've never seen Andrew perform and EIT is one of my favorite albums from my teen years. Three Pianos was the best beach read I've ever had back in 2022. Hoping I can catch a show, if there's a tour on the horizon!

Ok, was just curious. Every once in a while AP/Chorus comes up and it's all positive. So naturally, we wonder if you maybe lurked in there lol.

Back to Andrew though, 2025 tour has been confirmed if you have been following socials. Discord has figured out most of the dates. Announcement / proper reveal should be soon...

 

Monday.

 

The puzzle game right now ends at 8pm EST. I don't see Andrew's team doing a full reveal over the weekend. So, Monday def makes sense. There is also Warped Tour on Monday too... Could be either one or both!?

 

Based on what I know, Warped would make sense. But not totally sure. The other dates though, Monday, 100%. Unless anything changes.

 

My thinking is, Monday will be official reveal. This game they are doing now is just a nice thing for fans over the weekend. Tuesday is discord AMA. Maybe we could see presale starting Wed?

 

Monday is for sure the dates popping up today.

 

Its awesome. Alot of footage can be seen on the Dear Jack documentary. Highly recommend for anyone who hasnt seen it.
