The best of the new stuff was probably the colonoscopy twister. Putting the old stuff versus the new stuff really highlighted how much of the old show relied on pranking people. That stuff is almost entirely the domain of YouTubers without half the creativity now.
Very few experiences like seeing a Jackass movie in a theater. Even if this was mostly a clip show, I had a great time and am grateful for one last ride. Laughed for 90 minutes straight on my birthday with my friends. What more could you want
It is definitely a bit disappointing how much of it is old stuff from the shows and other movies. It is one thing to argue that they are too old now to do many stunts, but in the beginning of the movie they literally say they had boxes and boxes of never before released material, yet in a 90 minute movie we do not get much.
The hardest I laughed was during the bar fight when the cops showed up. I was taking a sip and Coke Zero came out of my nose
I don't want to be a debbie downer, but did you not watch the other movies? That skit was 16 years old. I don't think anything was added either. The more I think about it, the more this movie makes no sense.
Finding out Knoxville shot himself point blank like a true sicko (have no idea if this aired before but it was new to me I think) and laxative Shitster was enough for me for this to exist
The Russian roulette aspect of that scene was so intense. Loud gasping and audible wincing throughout the auditorium with every click. The blast almost felt like relief, obviously knowing he was fine

Correct. It was filmed for Big Brother as his first article he was writing for them. They were not planning on filming it but after he pitched it they said they should film it. Tremaine said he couldn't even go that day so he just sent the camera man. It was new to be seen, never been shown before and honestly worth the price of admission because it had been talked about for so long. They also started a podcast about the history Jackass. 3 episodes are up currently. 2nd one with Spike. 3rd with SteveO.
I like that people are sharing clips constantly this week. The way he says "I'm Poopies and I'll show me!" is so perfect lol

Finally saw the new movie today and predictably absolutely loved it. The new stuff was really fun and it actually didn't feel as "greatest hits" as I was expecting, I thought it struck a really nice balance The intro genuinely made me kind of emotional for some reason lol, I've literally grown up watching these guys and seeing how far they've come really worked for me. I kind of think Forever was a great finale and this was a perfect "one last ride"/epilogue to the series
