Do yall think this is the final Jackass movie or is there just ONE more movie in them? Think about every time you thought they wouldn't make another. i think they do, a lot of the new cast members fit in really great and can take off some of the pressure some of the old geezers may be feeling to do insane shit.
I think this rejuvenated it for them and they’ll have another. I do think the older cast will start to slowly phase out some of the more physically demanding stunts, but they’ll still be there. This definitely felt like the first one that’s just all good vibes, with no truly cruel pranks on each other. I hope they do another.
I hope they take their time and feel it out and do it when it feels right. I could definitely see them doing another one while they're still relatively able-bodied, and it seems like Bam has been in a better place lately so hopefully they can take their time rebuilding that relationship and do what's right for all of them and their bodies.
I think Knoxville is done doing gnarly stunts after that last bull hit. However, I believe the new cast plus maybe some more new comers will be propped up, with the OGs basically on-set to come up with ideas and create more chaos
Knoxville is the last person I need doing stunts in these movies anymore, his mere presence during scenes is more than enough. He earned his keep long before that awful bull stunt.
I rewatched all the movies for the first time in years, and my biggest takeaway was how frequently Bam’s bits were at the expense of others. I wonder if him being out on this one has anything to do with the good vibes or if it was solely due to getting older.
They said because of the pandemic they really couldn't do "man on the street" skits so had to focus on harassing people within their bubble - which in this case gave the movie such great energy
I remember someone saying that Paramount+ only had some of the episodes due to rights or something. But I started watching it and there are repeated bits in multiple episodes. Like Johnny walking around with the fake hard on is in 1 and 2. Bam beating on Phil is in 2 and 3. what’s up with that? Is that how they actually aired? I can’t remember anything like that but I haven’t seen these in like 20 years.
I’m in. but who was like, “I want to pick a photo from Jackass Forever. Oh! I know! Let’s pick a still with MGK! He’s the coolest and in one scene that makes him look like a baby. That’s what the fans love about this franchise.”
https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/jackass-reboot-series-paramount-plus-1235256934/ I think the original crew needs to be in it even if they’re not doing stunts anymore. I liked the new cast in the movie but I don’t know if they can carry it on their own. wtf beaten by like .3 seconds haha
I didnt enjoy the new cast other than Poopies and Rachel. Dark Shark was ok to mess with, but he is no Phil lol. Zachass doesnt add anything nor does Jasper. I cant even remember the other peoples (skaters) names as they were barely in it. And I watch Forever 4 times...
The new cast was solid. Not all of them got the chance to shine. And to be honest, that’s fine. They can’t give everyone equal time when you are trying to balance new with legacy cast. And remembering names of the cast… that’s kind of a weird critique. For me, despite having seen the entire show and all 3 other Jackass movies, until Jackass Forever if you had shown me a picture of Erin I would have probably not remembered him as part of the crew and could never have told you his name. But he was probably the MVP of Forever and having just rewatched all the Jackass content on Paramount in the last week I realize how much a part of it all he was and I still didn’t get sucked in to him until now. I don’t think it’s a big deal if you can’t recall a name, even after 4 viewings.
Im not here to argue or anyhting, just curious what they added to the movie for you? I cant even remember any of Jasper's stunts except the parachute thing. Zach was great in Silence of the Lambs, that I must admit, but other than that he was just not great.
Rachel didn't get a ton of screen time, but she absolutely ran with what she got. "Scorpion Botox" and her role in "The Quiet Game" are fucking tough. Loved all of the new cast tbh
