right but he initially was in another room! Like he was a little too far away if the bear just lost its shit and started attacking Ehren
If you look back there were definitely two competing camps in Jackass, the Margera-led CKY group and then the people who had been recruited by Knoxville and Tremaine. I think they just straight-up recycled old CKY VHS footage into the show, and then in the third season the CKY guys quit and it was just the Knoxville crowd. I wouldn't be surprised if they socialize around those lines too.
Geographics were part of it too. Most of those CKY guys are still just like working class dudes in West Chester. It was very cool to see Raab in the movie, though!
I enjoyed this more the 2nd time around on Paramount then opening night. Still, the entire movie feels a bit off. Not sure if its cause of covid or age, but just not enough funny stuff. The bits are too long and even the cinematography doesnt make it feel like the otehr jackass movies. The new members didnt add much, but I understand why they are there. Pontius just hurts his twig and berries in all his stunts. I would never say I disliked it, just didnt love it. Still saw it opening weekend like the first 3 movies. 1- always has a place in my heart and was so special at the time 2 4 3
I need to watch it again, but I loved it. Just hard to compare it to the older movies. My only complaint was that the ending sequence just didn't really feel like a proper finale. Usually they try incorporating every cast member and it's very clear they're wrapping things up, but this was just like another stunt/prank with some explosions added. I think they said that skit wasn't even originally intended to be the ending...which makes sense why it felt off.
All of those types of movies have the same problem. The interconnecting story is just pointless and lame. The pranks are all fantastic.
Bad Trip and some of Sacha Baron Cohen’s stuff intertwines the story and characters with the real interactions/pranks pretty well
I smiled so hard when I saw him. It was like seeing an old friend...one who took a shit while running at full speed.
