I think this is the most I’ve laughed in the cinema in a fair while. I really enjoyed. My girlfriend who hasn’t really watched jackass before found it funny. Probably one of the few in the cinema who were laughing which I found strange. I think they pretty done as I expected.
I still think the best bit from the movies is the golf carts from the first film. There is something very special about the stunts that were not too far from something you would have done as a kid if no one was looking and you would not get in trouble. I use the airplane engine one in Kahoots for my students, and occasionally the one where they are on that four-pronged ride (I have no idea what that thing is called) and the four of them try to avoid the bull by balancing over it.
I think my favorite is still when Steve-o and Dunn are playing horns for the rams. The shot of Steve-o stuck on the fence while Dunn just keeps getting rammed in the background is so fucking perfect.
the cart flipping is borderline watching a snuff film. if it rolls an inch the other way johnny is done for lol
Finally saw this today and it was everything I wanted it to be, easily lives up to the first three. The new cast was all great and fit in perfectly, and Knoxville is still a lunatic lol Agree that Silence of the Lambs is probably the best bit of the movie but the whole thing was great. Looking forward to watching this a million times like the other ones
i laughed the hardest when the UFC guy said something along the lines of "i don't think you should be reading that right now"
Steve-O has been having a bunch of the cast on his podcast the past month or so, I listened to the Tremaine and Knoxville episodes yesterday and they're pretty fun. Some good stories
Man this was so fun and exactly what my gf needed. Her dad passed away earlier this month and it was nice to see her cracking up and crying from this.
The escalating cup check scenes were so perfect, absolutely impeccable editing to cut to something worse each time
Glad I got to catch this in the theater. Would have been nice if Bam could have been involved, but they didn't miss a beat with the new cast. Special movie. Give Danger Ehren an Oscar
Early on in filming there were reports that they threw bam in a pitch black room and covered him in snakes lmao
I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. All this pandemonium and Pontius is in the back just living his best life.
On Steve-O’s podcast with Jeff, Jeff mentioned that Dave and Ehren acted like an old married couple during that scene and it’s so true looking back on it.
