Surprise released on July 19, only available in physical form currently but has been ripped for everyone to enjoy!
Yeah, I'd genuinely be surprised if this isn't on Spotify/Apple Music and up for pre-order by Friday.
I still haven’t listened yet, kinda hoping this’ll pop up on streaming or physical will go on sale soon so I don’t have to listen to a rip. But all the reviews I’ve been reading has got me insanely hyped
The rip that has been shared seems to be missing song B-7, anyone have this one or can you confirm it exists? I have read it has 14 tracks and I only got 13. THANKS
What is the theory of the way this has been released? Like, I think it's cool and all but what's the logic behind it? I find it hard to believe he's releasing what everyone says is a great album for free and not monetizing it in any way.
He probably makes more in one day off royalties for Seven Nation Army than most of us probably make in a year. Don’t think he is worried about cash. He announced a few club shows over the next week. Doing everything possible to try to go to one of the Georgia shows. Wonder if it will be for sale at those? Maybe after the run of shows he drops it on streaming and official vinyl. But at same time would be pretty crazy if it’s just never released officially. Almost makes it more cool.
I feel like Jack is all about making a statement without actually making a statement. Dude just wrote an album many fans have been wanting and sent it out for free in physical mail. No emails, no streaming drops, no build up announcements. Although, as a fan, it would be nice to have a digital and physical release, but it would also be pretty legendary if we don’t ever get another form of it released haha. He’s the Willy Wonka of the music industry
Just scored tickets to the pop up show in ATL next week, holy shit!! So excited. I actually held off on listening to the album until today but holy fuck I’m only 5 songs in and this is INCREDIBLEEEEEEE
Was able to snag a ticket to tonight’s Jack White show in Nashville. Max capacity for the room is 200. Hyper. Looks like the tour is called the No Name tour. All the merch has One Day One Way Can’t miss on it. Wondering if we’ll actually get an official release of the record.
Sounds like the vinyl was sold at the show today. Had a barcode on it and song titles so very much seems to confirm a release is coming.
Yeah, I was able to get the record after the show for $25. It was an awesome show, glad i was able to experience seeing him in such a small venue. Official track listing for No Name is: 1. Old Scratch Blues 2. Bless Yourself 3. That's How I'm Feeling 4. It's Rough On Rats (If You're Asking) 5. Archbishop Harold Holmes 6. Bombing Out 7. What's The Rumpus? 8. Tonight (Was A Long Time Ago) 9. Underground 10. Number One With A Bullet 11. Morning At Midnight 12. Missionary 13. Terminal Archenemy Endling
