It’s telling that of all the shit going on right now THAT is what he felt he had to respond to and make a song about. Like...why?

 

Hmm this is very not good

 

I’m glad to see so many taking him to task for this. It’s so petty and only amplifies Noname’s point. My favourite bit is when he tweeted something in his defence like “I don’t read much but I do a lot of thinking”

 

I disagree with Chance often but I'm happy and surprised to see him stand up for Noname.

 

I do think it's funny how Chance goes for this but refuses to speak ill of all of Kanye's shit but something is better than nothing I suppose

 

Plenty of questionable stuff re: Chance but he's definitely spoken to Kanye and about how he disagrees with him very publicly so idk about that one. Totally valid to feel he should've said/done more when MAGA hats are involved but I don't personally believe in centering the discourse around Trump supporters so I can't fault him for not spending too much energy on it
