That's been known for a while, neither is the other song he released I'm glad, it's an alright song but nothing special
I like "False Prophets" a good amount, but it doesn't feel like an album track, so I don't mind. If the whole song was more in line with his third verse, it might have worked.
I'm not a J. Cole fan, but my roommate just made me listen to this and I definitely think it's the best thing he's done (aside from the laundry song lol). Figured the last track would be a shout-out track but props to him for rapping all 9 minutes, maybe the best track here. Still, fuck "False Prophets"
I thought I read somewhere that Boi1da has production on this album Though if he's complaining on Twitter about it he obviously didn't approve
Immediately like the first track then hate the next two. She's Mine Pt 1 is kinda cool, Change might be the best one here. I honestly can't beleive Fold Clothes. Nothing else really did much for me
He must have more than die hard supporters otherwise he wouldn't be as big, unless you mean that is the narrative on this forum
That article was hard to get through. You can only be a good rapper if you rap about this or this. Oh, and let's take a few really dumb/not serious/cheesy lines from his work and harp on them for the basis of my argument.
has this article not been posted in the thread yet if it has i don't care this should be posted daily A Highly Scientific, Real-Life Exploration Into How Anyone Could Possibly Like J. Cole
Most rappers that are huge also have a die hard fanbase, plus a lot of non die hard fans, and of course a lot of haters. How is this new?
Well yeah I don't care about what a lot of "critics" write about Hip Hop because it's often disconnected from reality. My point still stands, most J. Cole fans are just random kids that like rap, nothing die hard about them, just like most fans of Kendrick or whatever current rapper you can think of. In fact, I'm pretty sure most of them share a large amount of fans.
