J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only (December 9, 2016) Album

I'm aware I could be the only person here who likes him.

 

I still really enjoy 2014FHD. Don't see why this won't be good either

 

Love FHD and FNL, and like the rest to varying degrees. I love how he's now done this for two albums in a row, very excited

 

FHD really grew on me. The more I listened to it, the better it got. Still enjoy a handful of songs on Cole World and Born Sinner. Looking forward to this.

 

Kevin gates went platinum with no features

 

Wouldn't really call it a straight up diss. Sounds like he feels for the guy.

Overall, it's a little self-indulgent but I like it.

Re: "False Prophets" -- First verse is pretty clearly about Kanye, the second one is about Wale and himself, third is mostly about himself.

 

Did you listen to the song? He doesn't diss Wale.

I knew it was a Pac reference too but it just works too perfectly as an Arrested Development meme

 

I give him some credit for not calling it Strictly 4 Your E.Y.E.Z, haha.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing it. I liked every album more than the last one and I really enjoyed the last two albums.

 

So...uh..."False Prophets" isn't on the album.
