I love when Dennis tries to sing to show he’s fine, that thumbnail alone cracks me up.

the look on Dennis’s face before he yells the answer gets me every time

 

The only part of the show I had to pause because I had tears in my eyes is the reveal after the High School Reunion dance

I remember back when it was on Thursday’s.
I’d watch new episodes of My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, then Sunny. All live. Think that only happened one season before NBC moved schedules around.

 

Same but the year(s?) it was Community, Parks, Office, Sunny, The League. 30 Rock was probably also part of that but i never watched it

I guess the Big Bang Theory was on a different night back then.

 

I’ve always watched this from a DVR or on demand the day after, so I only really associate it coming on near the same time as The League since they taped back to back. That’s one I have no interest in revisiting though.

 

I missed seasons 4-7 live because it was on Thursday nights when I was in college. Always watched it on the weekend. Good times.

 

Reading that made me laugh so hard

 

The Dennis character wouldn't work nearly as well as it does if Glenn Howerton wasn't such a genuinely incredible actor

He almost single-handedly made Dennis Reynolds probably my favorite comedy character of all time

 

Dennis played by anyone else would probably have made the entire show unwatchable. He’s such an awful and terrifying person, but Glenn toes the line of ridiculousness perfectly.
