I went through and ranked all of the episodes a while back because I was bored, and based on the average grade I gave each individual episode, season 3 was my favorite overall. Season 4 had the most episodes that I either gave an A or A- to though.
Dennis has been my favorite character since basically the start and it never changed I love the entire cast though, and I wish Rob McElhenny would act more, his facial expressions crack me up
Dennis is my favorite. Mac was my favorite in the first few seasons though. Dee is great too... they all are.
Dennis has really become an even greater character than he already was over the last few years, as they've slowly been driving him further and further down the road toward full-on sociopath. His mania has always been entertaining to watch but I think he's gotten way better recently. Dennis is probably my favorite character too. I think Charlie would be my second-favorite mainly because of the character's worldview and philosophy on life. Also the way Charlie Day delivers his lines most of the time is great.
Dee doesn't get nearly as much love (probably because she looks so much like a bird). Dennis > Charlie > Frank = Dee > Mac.
"You know, Dennis, I've been thinking fish recently. Her eyes are so far apart, they're almost on the sides of her head."
I've never even thought of a favorite before, but if I had to choose it'd be Frank. Mostly for the scraps
"So spread this video to all your friends, because it's a computer virus. Take it from me! I am a doctor. Dr. Toboggan. MANTIS Toboggan."
Sunny often gets compared to Seinfeld, and with good reason, but I think the one thing the shows share more than anything else is that they are two of the most quotable comedies of all time (along with Arrested Development).
So excited for the new season. Such a consistently good show. The amount of times I've re-watched all of the seasons is ridiculous.
I really don't think Seinfeld is a good comparison outside of the first two seasons. Maybe three. After that it's comparison is Family Guy but actually good.
They're both shows about terrible people with little to no regard for how their actions affect those innocent bystanders caught in their wake. Sunny is a far, far more extreme example, obviously, but at their cores they have that similarity.
