Yeah Suburbs might be the best episode in the last 3 or 4 seasons

 

Every scene in the gallery is perfect. Ongo’s first entrance is such an iconic moment and Frank’s reaction to that one painting is funny every time.

 

I had to rewind the "NEWSFLASH ASSHOLE....BECAUSE I HATE YOU" scene like 10 times the first time I saw that episode. Easily in the top 10 for me.

And I just love that Dennis is listening to Summer '69 during all the traffic scenes..lol

 

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t even really like “Suburbs” when it first came out....don’t know what I was thinking. It’s like one of my top five favorites and most quoted episodes. When Dennis says “Yeah?!” and also when he says (calmly) “You ever been in a STORM, Wally?” My god, I lose it every time.

 

Dennis in traffic is the most (and one of the few times) I've ever related to any of the gang

 

Heh for real. My job just moved to what should be close by, but in rush hour, I'm looking at anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour drive with no rhyme or reason. I hate everyone on the road lol

 

I was thinking about it today and I think the new season would have benefitted from airing the episodes in a different order. Maybe air the two Super Bowl episodes as the first two of the season, then jump ahead a year and have the Mindy episode/Dennis' return as the third one, and maybe end with The Gang Gets New Wheels. I think a big part of my disappointment in this season comes from the fact that Dennis isn't in the last like 3 episodes, and that his last appearance was in the clip show

 

I will never not like this show

 

Them putting the trash in the spare room with the air fresheners in Suburbs is incredible

 

Suburbs is maybe my favorite episode

 

Blooper reel for the season. Definitely way better than the half-assed 11/12 one from a few months ago

 

Rewatched Suburbs last night. Definitely one of their best. "News flash: I'VE BEEN HEARING IT THE WHOLE GOD DAMN TIME" "Then why didn't you say anything!?" "BECAUSE I HAATE YOU"

"Oh, that must be nosy Wally, coming over to see what all the fighting's about..." might be the highlight

Perfect example of why Dennis is GOAT on this show.

 

And Wally was on Matlock which makes child me laugh forever.

I just finished the season and haven't been reading this thread, but did this season feel off to anybody else? Still a lot of funny, but Dennis immediately showing up only to be absent for the last 3 episodes was odd. Feel like a lot of episodes were shorter (some were only 18 minutes long?). Some episodes just felt kind of slapped together

I did enjoy it overall though

Just watched the finale... I was uh, kinda stunned. What an incredible sequence.

 

At this point I'm ready for AP Bio to come back.

 

At this point, I think the last few episodes of AP Bio season 1 were better than a few of these new Sunny episodes

 

I enjoyed both seasons of The Mick more

 

And when does The Mick come back?
