Is it really that bad?! I recall people suggesting skipping Rick & Morty 1st episode, then when I went back to watch it it wasn't too bad imo.
I've tried to start Rick and Morty like 3 different times and never made it through the pilot. Season 1 isn't that bad, but it's definitely the worst/least important to the series. It's only 6 episodes though, so I mean if you wanted to watch it would probably be fine.. Gun to my head, 3>4>2>5>6>7>1 I guess
It's an absolute chore to get through. I watched the first episode. Then didn't watch any for weeks. Then watched a few more, then took a break. Things just clicked in the second season and you aren't missing much plot.
The first season of Parks and Rec is so awful. It's like they wanted to be the Office but without any sort of redeeming qualities. Everything after that I really enjoyed though.
Haha rewatched it again myself last night after that discussion ;). Still loved it, and it's probably one of my most replayed episodes outside of the one with "Fart"
S1 of Parks is definitely the worst but it's nowhere near as bad as you guys make it seem... I love Rock Show
Maybe they're okay if you've seen the other seasons and go back, but watching the first few episodes in a vacuum was like pulling teeth. They were not written well. Anyway, back to sunny!
The episode with the health inspection where there's that huge scene that's filmed all in one shot was great
I honestly don't think I could pick even a top 5 at this stage, let alone an outright fav. The McPoyle wedding ep would def be in that top 5 purely on how bizarre it is, but the other 4? Who knows! I'm still waiting on Mac becoming the worst character on the show like you guys said he was a while back. I find him unbelievably funny (yet is still only the joint 3rd best character!)
Yeah, Charlie Work is definitely my favorite episode. It was shot so well, and god damn did he have me dying every time he's muttering about Dee under his breath. I think my second favorite is the one where the gang tries to win an award, but that's mainly the Charlie stuff again with the Paddy's Pub theme song and the "Spiders" song heh. Easily the strongest character in the show.
Keep in mind that the "worst character on the show" would be the funniest character in any other show
Yeah I wouldn't say Mac is the "worst character," I'd frame it more accurately as he's my "least favorite" character personally. "Worst" implies low-quality and nothing on this show is that.
I love Mac. I think he really shines in the last two seasons. Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs is my favorite episode.
Everything about Mac is funny - his "karate" (complete with sound effects ) never fails to make me laugh! I also realised today that there has yet to be a pre-credits scene that has failed to produce a laugh, and I'm on season 11!
Every character on this show at one point or the other has been superb. Dee tends to be the weakest. Olson herself though is incredible on The Mick. Can we just talk about how good that show is too?
I love the Mick. It pushes a lot of boundaries for network TV. The show starts off good and then get better every episode.
