Haha to each his own. I think for me 6 is when they got out of their comfort zone and started getting creative. I also never enjoyed in the earlier seasons how they would just talk over each other all the time and essentially just yell nonsense. After 6 they developed personalities. My opinion obviously haha
Yeah I can't agree with that at all, personally I think "Fat Mac season" is one of the best seasons. It's got CDMD, Frank's Little Beauties, the Jersey Shore episode, the Pretty Woman episode ("what are you cocks looking at?"), Thunder Gun Express, and The Gang Gets Trapped ("I'm gonna whip this little bitch in the face if she makes a peep!")
The best part about The Gang Gets Trapped is Charlie and Mac arguing about the chips. Every time I watch that episode it kills me when Mac freaks out on him and says that if he wanted chips he should've gotten them at the burger place haha
Worst episode yet is "the gang cracks the liberty bell". Part where Frank shoots Crickets head off was hilarious tho
I'm only on season 4 so far btw. I get way too drunk watching these so I've forgotten a good amount of episodes already though
They are fun to watch drunk though. Plus they're always crushing those cold delicious coors lights so it kinda makes you wanna indulge
Holy shit Charlie's musical is so fucking funny it is def a highlight for me so far. That song they do at the end (before the proposal) is so good
Except in the Boggs episode they're pounding down those generic "light beer" Natural Light rip offs (which also make an appearance in the pilot episode of "The Mick")
Yeah. There have been various eps the past 5-6 years that haven't wowed me, but this remains at the bottom. Even the Cricket one this season was marginally better. I like the Liberty Bell one, though. It definitely wasn't one the stronger efforts from the golden era of the show, but it had plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, IMO. The concept is very Three Stooges-esque; I suspect that's what they were going for.
I've only watched it once, I always skip over it when I binge that season. I actually enjoy "Frank's Brother" more than most people, I know it's universally hated and all but it's alright
Every time I tell someone "Season __ is my least favorite season", I'm immediately reminded of all of the good episodes in it and think "You know what... I like that one" They're all good, but it's like they have different "eras" to them. To me, they're grouped 1-2, 3-5, 6-9, and 10-12.
