The main 2 McPoyles haven't been around since the apartment fire, have they? I know the family was in the bird law episode but seems like it was all lesser characters.
Yeah, the Waitress is on every year. No idea why the McPoyles have been missing but it hurts me. Somehow with tonight's plot they have to end up at a Gay Pride parade too, right??? Didn't we see a bunch of pics or footage of that before the season??
Idk something kinda rings false about his explanation. This doesn't really feel like a natural conclusion to his character's story or whatever so I don't really buy the "artistic decision" stuff.
Honestly if any of the main five leave the show, just end it. Can't see the show being anywhere near as good if you remove one of these characters.
Not sure I'd watch without Dennis (or at least I'd wait until it was on Netflix and do so begrudgingly).
Tonight's was weird but hilarious. I feel like with all the Dennis stuff (I'm almost convinced that they're just intentionally trying to be mysterious and he'll be back next season, though that may just be me being in denial), nobody is even talking about how Charlie fucking banged the Waitress. I never thought that would happen, even in the series finale. The reversal of her becoming obsessed with him while he's annoyed by her could potentially be hilarious too. The status quo of this show changed so much this season. Mac is now openly gay, Charlie banged the Waitress, Dennis has a kid/is potentially leaving? The show really feels like it's winding down now, I'm pretty much expecting them to end the show after 14, which they're renewed through currently.
