I think they've already done a few episodes that could have served as series finales with a few changes. The Gang Misses the Boat and The Gang Goes to Hell come to mind
I always thought that episode (i think 2 seasons ago) where they all go their separate ways and Frank finds that new gang and immediately destroys them would have been a good series finale
I think that was "The Gang Misses the Boat", the same as the post right above you. haha. A Frank funeral could be fun, like everyone has said. Like the gang is jumping through hoops trying to fulfill his last wishes (unlike "Mac and Charlie Die" where no one actually gives a shit). Maybe the Gang accidentally dies trying to finish the last thing on his list, and Frank ends up being alive after all...the whole thing being a scheme to get what he wanted.
I could see them going with a sort of sweet ending for the series instead of the super dark ending people might expect.
I think it depends on what platform they want to end on. They've talked about doing a movie, but I don't know how serious that idea is. If the movie concluded the series, then a final "episode" wouldn't need to be so crazy.
I think they'll end it with them sitting at the bar, ready for another adventure that we just won't see. But what happens in the episode before that... I have no idea.
I know Rob said that he and everybody but Kaitlin know how the show is going to end. Kaitlin wants to be surprised aha.
Oh my god. Somehow in the 100 times I've seen that episode, I never saw that Charlie actually made the taco bed. I guess I was always looking at Dennis trying to stand up in the ashes of the house. Amazing.
I loved all the sweatshop jokes, especially when Frank's mic was on. Cab driver low-key knowing the statute of limitations
FX doesn't give a shit anymore. Atlanta has multiple fucks per episode and are all uncensored. In The Gang Gets Held Hostage, Frank also said: "Yippie kai yay Mr. Fuckin" which got by the censors back then haha.
Seems like they were allowing 1 per season for a while which has turned into not giving a shit more recently, as the person above said. Guess they figure at this point no one is going to be pulling ads over a couple of fucks.
Haha I think he's saying "Yippee Ki Yay, Mr. Falcon!" Obviously, the original Die Hard quote is "mother fucker", but the edited tv version replaced it with "Mr. Falcon" for some reason so that joke just kind of stuck. Pretty sure that's what the line is referencing. I haven't really noticed any other instances where they've said it besides the Christmas special episode, but I would be lying if I said I was actually paying attention.
