I’m glad it got revived , the show got to grow more in those two more seasons. Here's Why AP Bio Got Cancelled and Then Revived
This may be a hot take but I feel like it’s a biiiiiit of a jump the shark / too stupid for its own good kind of moment in “The Gang Misses the Boat” when Dennis believes his Range Rover can float? Or work as a boat? And drives into the lake to catch up to the cruise ship. Ironically enough, The Office got shit on when Michael followed the GPS directions and drove into the pond, people saying that doing that was “too dumb to believe Michael would do that / not realistic” and that was 7 years earlier in 2007/2008 and I feel like that scene has probably actually become more realistic with how shit people drive and some of the dumb shit people do. But Dennis thinking his car would work as a boat? That just doesn’t make sense no matter how narcissistic and oblivious he is. Even having Charlie or the McDoyle’s be the one to do that would be hard to let pass.
I think there are more absurd things that happen on this show lol. I don't really think Always Sunny and The Office are/were going for similar levels of realism, it feels a lot more out of place in that show to me than this one
Glenn Howerton takes issue with 'Abbott Elementary' doc cameras in 'Always Sunny' crossover clip (exclusive)
I bet people who don’t watch Sunny think this episode of Abbott is bizarre lol it’s pretty good so far though as a fan of both
It’s so good and very easy to binge. I watched all the episodes in less than a week, I’m a big fan of it too
Definitely. The humor was like 90% reliant on the Sunny cast and their quirks/callbacks. The Abbott characters were mostly reacting to them. So pretty easy to jump in as a Sunny fan but not as an Abbott-only fan lol
I almost don’t even want to look at any discussion about this because I already know what 90% of the comments will be complaining about.
Hadn’t seen any of Abbott before, but this was a fun crossover episode. Loved the plot about Charlie learning to read
yah it was tame for the most part but expected, did enjoy the episode, it seemed like awhile since the Christmas break episodes even though it hasn't been that long. loved frank in the cage eating the dirt, classic frank reynolds
