Time’s Up is probs the best episode in that season, but New Wheels makes me laugh the hardest. When Dennis goes to the guy’s house to watch the game and tries to flirt with a woman: “Yeah… my sister farts a shit ton.”
somehow on my first watch of the series, even alllll the way to this point, I thought, “this won’t actually be a scene maybe they’ll tell us about it but they won’t show anything”. Boy was I wrong lol, somehow even though this show had a scene of a dead animal in a box posing as a fake dead kid several seasons earlier, I still didn’t think they’d actually be able to show a scene of adults clobbering kids. And then of course it went even better and funnier than expected as only Sunny can.
lol the dead dog falling out of a casket that I thought would be empty legitimately shocked me the first time I saw it

https://screenrant.com/its-always-sunny-philadelphia-charlie-tattoo-easter-egg-notice/ I never noticed this
Not gonna lie, I’m now a bit irrationally skeptical that it has been accounted for in every episode since it was done and not gonna believe some random internet writer, that’s for sure! If Charlie had actually gotten that tattooed then of course no issues there but now I wanna confirm for myself it’s always there lol Edit: also trying to think of any flash back scenes where it shouldn’t appear but maybe does. If the tattoo scene was in S2E10 then it should not appear in any potential flashbacks prior to that (the roller rink episode from way back when is the only immediate flashback that comes to mind. Was gonna say “Frank Falls Out the Window” but it’s not a flashback just Frank thinking it’s 2006)
I was just watching Sunny compilation videos on YouTube and he definitely does not always have that tattoo lol
Random comment! S4E9 “An Erotic Life” One of the super small things that made me fall in love with the show is Charlie bombing at impromptu standup just like Dee does. I feel like most shows would go the cliche route of having the new person be successful at it and the person who always fails getting made because of it. So seeing Charlie bomb/gag just like Dee does is just so fantastic.
Not sure when I started noticing it but I love the running joke/line of, “what is… happening?”. I don’t think it’s in every episode and I think it started as a line Mac usually said but I’ve noticed Dennis says it quite a bit and then random secondary characters start saying it as well. And while it’s a common line I feel like the delivery of it is the running bit with where the pauses are and how it’s said (it’s never yelled).
every single time I've paid for something over the past few weeks "that's money talk" has circled around inside my brain
We used to say nose clams. We call ourselves Premium Men now because we have YouTube Premium which came about as an extension of the 5 star man
My favorite to use is Frank's "How does anything happen? Move past it, will ya?" My friend has a knack for using Sunny quotes at the most inappropriate times, but I love it. One time, we went to a crowded bar/club and noticed a booth upstairs was inexplicably open. We sat down and the waitress comes over and asks if we were with "JT" (apparently the guy had reserved that booth which is why it was open). Without missing a beat, my friend says "JT turned out to be a god damn junkie". The waitress just looks at him and says "Oh....okay" and walks off. Never bothered us again lol.
