These two episodes were definitely good. Frank walking into the extra bedroom saying "What the FUCK is this?" had me dying.

On a different note, I think it was when they first showed Charlie and Frank's apartment, I just got a huge grin and thought to myself "Damn, I'm so glad this show is still going." It hasn't been in its prime for a while now, but I still thoroughly enjoy it.

 

This line and Dennis saying “I will move past it because I ultimately don’t give a shit” both killed me. If the rest of the season is this good it’ll be my favorite since at least 11 or 12. So happy this show is back.

 

Had no idea this was back! First episode was great, classic Sunny

I for real was like how in the fuck did they get a guy that looks so much like Luther to play Donald?? And then realized it’s the same guy lol

 

I couldn’t believe it at first either. I did see he hadn’t been on the show since 2018.

 

This first episode is awesome so far, I agree with the sentiments of it feeling very old school gang

Charlie having another room is fucking awesome hahaha

 

Also Mac being allergic to nuts but denying it is too good

I was fully expecting the reveal that it actually was the furniture

 

Both episodes were solid. I think I liked the first one more just for the extra room and bathroom reveal. But Charlie not dismissing Mac's uncle in the 2nd episode had me cracking up.

 

Charlie and Mac swapping between the rational and insane roles based entirely on whose family they were talking to at that specific moment was great

 

I was Googling something about their apartment (because I thought Frank already knew there was a bathroom but it was too disgusting so they chose not to use it) and came across these 7-year-old Reddit comments:

 

Great episodes. Charlie chocking down the turtle pie had me laughing hard.

 

Damn this cold open of the first episode was the funniest this show has been in a minute

I know the Dave season just ended, but with that new Sunny and Eric Andre. This is the best time TV wise.

 

Camera quality is oddly too good for this show now.

 

first episode of this was pretty classic. "that's money talk" and the last shot of Mac just pointing and saying "nuts" slayed me

 

just found out the McPoyles are back this season, might end up being the best season in a minute if it keeps up this quality
