TIL Kaitlin doesn't even really watch Sunny and probably hasn't even seen all of the episodes. haha. The end of this podcast had me dying. I love how they say "I'm sure we can find something else to get fired up about for the last 10 minutes" and immediately start arguing with each other about coffee.
Seems like the general consensus that the actor Glenn is shitting on that they bleep out is Rami Malek
This episode where they take listener calls is incredible. Charlie has me dying every five minutes. Highlight for me is one of the listeners suggesting there be a "normal" McPoyle and the guy's revealing the doctor Dee almost dated in Ireland was originally intended to be a McPoyle until they scrapped the idea.
Glad they finally brought Kaitlin on. I was a little surprised at how uneventful that podcast was considering that's one of the best episodes of the series. Side note - that episode also has some funny continuity errors in it. During the opening scene, it transitions from the gang being inside the bar to sitting in the park drinking beers, and Charlie grows a full beard between cuts (in what is supposed to be the same day since they're all wearing the same clothes). Also at the end, Dee "breaks" her left foot when she punts the football, but then in the next scene, she's holding her right foot asking to go to the hospital.
Holy shit. I am dying laughing at work right now listening to their reactions about how tall and rich the internet says they are. Charlie almost spitting out his drink when Megan reads that Rob is supposedly worth $50 million might be my favorite podcast moment so far.
The Sunny podcast is my go-to listen when I go running and makes it all the better. My excitement to keep listening is translating to being excited to go for another run. I am through the 2021 episodes. Does the "cutthatcutthatcutthat" bit keep going? It makes me laugh every single time.
I love how Rob and Glenn both always give Charlie compliments for some reason The whole "wingspan" bit was great too
