New podcast is great, I loved the origin of "Yeah, yean, not that though" being from Devito. I know for a fact Dennis says that at some point in the show because I can extremely clearly picture him saying it but I can't remember where
I know Mac says it at one point that I can think of. “Let’s slash his tires!” “Well, not that though. If we slash his tires he can’t leave…”
I thought he said it about frank wanting to be a cheetah too but I could be wrong he also may have said it multiple times
The bit Charlie and Rob do on the new episode of the podcast when Glenn says he used to burn people's front yards had me dying
we had the same interests cheese and ghouls I wonder if Dennis was the first of the gang to get Covid haha, Charlie got it 8 times from eating trash cheesemongrel
"there's nothing more irish than a corporate tax shelter" tearing up thousand year old books in trinity library mac finding out that he's not irish the waitress reveal "the irish are so accommodating, they don't want to drive head first into a maniac" "we're safe and sound in patty's pub" "your brother, the cheese monster" "grand, as you say" "i think what they say is "top of the mornin'"" colm meaney being charlie's father and charlie being fluent in irish "i wanted to run through a bunch of pipe, if you know what i mean. well, you know what i mean" "i did love your mother" "so did i" "we all did" "i'm not even talking to you, i'm talking to the castle" great episodes. probably my favourite of the season so far
Wow, that was a fantastic way to finally reveal Charlie's father. Those scenes felt genuinely meaningful Dee is killing it all season so far, her plotline in the first episode was hilarious. And holy shit, that second episode is some of the all time best insane Dennis material. Him sniffing the lady's hair fucking killed me, and then he was genuinely extremely menacing in the castle, especially when he appeared in the bell tower lmao It's looking like this Ireland arc is the rest of the season like I suspected. If it keeps up with this quality it could end up being a highlight of the entire series
very fun episodes, I assume they're still gonna be in Ireland next week also. I kinda like the fact that there's a long extended multi-episode arc, it's a nice twist on the show
Great episodes, the pacing has been real nice. Some of the two parters in the past have not justified their length, but now here are two episodes and I'm excited to see what happens in the third and fourth!
It's kinda the ideal show for them to shoot haha. They only had to make time for 4 episodes on the normal sets then they got to take a vacation for the other 4. Livin the dream
Rob already confirmed in an interview that they didn't actually go to Ireland due to travel restrictions. They stayed in California EDIT Ohh, I read wrong, I think you just meant a vacation from their usual sets? My bad!
oh wow, OK nevermind. I guess I didn't pay enough attention to realize it was all sets. Nevermind then
They definitely made it convincing! I think the only thing that kind of gave it away for me is the roads look a bit wide to be in Ireland
