That's how I felt. I really did not like S13 as it aired, but when revisiting on a binge watch, there's a lot of good stuff in there. Still think there are a few duds though.

Time's Up is one of my favorite episodes now. So damn funny

 

12/13 were easily my least favourite seasons but I haven't rewatched either of them and I've rewatched all of 1-11, most of them multiple times.

 

well now I just want an entire show of Charlie Day as a noir gumshoe detective

 

14 was solid, probably down towards the weaker end of the show though. I think I felt the "one or two standouts and a lot of alright" in this season way more than the last few. The Gang Chokes, Texts and The Janitor Always Mops Twice were really fun but I don't think anything was up there in the top tier - although the meta story of Waiting For Big Mo was really clever and well-done

I'm gonna miss this show lol, it got me through a lot of nasty shit in Australia these past couple months. at least there's a bunch more seasons on the way though. time to start watching bloopers I guess!

Glad you still enjoyed it all the way through the end. It's pretty amazing that the show is still so damn enjoyable that many seasons in. Being able to have your audience binge 14 seasons and still want more is quite an accomplishment lol.

 

I must be a superfan because even the worst episodes of this show are better than the majority of tv comedies i've ever watched

 

yeah it's borderline absurd that a show could be that good that long lol. and yeah, for the most part the weaker episodes of this show are still totally watchable/elevated by a phenomenal cast. I think there maybe 4 or 5 total I thought were outright bad, which is a pretty good ratio out of like, 150 episodes? just insane

I think my 10 favourites of the show, purely personal and based off one watch were:

- Jersey Shore
- Mac and Charlie Die
- The Gang Dines Out
- Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs
- Time's Up
- The Gang Gets Quarantined
- The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis
- Mac and Dennis Buy a Timeshare
- Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare
- The Nightman Cometh

 

Yeah I don’t think there’s any outright bad episodes. Some weaker than others, and some I’ve seen too many times, but I don’t think there’s any other show that can make me laugh as often and as consistently as this one

 

The only outright bad episode is A Cricket's Tale imo

 

I think every time I watch this I notice more and more product placement that I somehow missed the other times. Mac had a Robinhood t-shirt on in "Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs"....and then Hulu played a Robinhood ad immediately after.

Frank's Brother or Home Alone are probably the worst for me

 

Those are def my bottom 3, and then I'd say I don't really love Being Frank or the Superbowl episode

 

Frank's Brother and Being Frank are two of my favorite episodes lol, so they at least get love from me

 

I just got around to listening to this, and it was great. I loved the story about how Rob and Charlie met on one of their flights to LA and realized they were auditioning for the same part (with Rob being bummed out because he knew Charlie would get the part over him).

 

Danny DeVito is so good at being gross. I’m constantly in awe.

 

Frank’s Brother is so bad

 

they really cast Jon Polito and Lance Reddick and gave them both almost nothing to work with

 

I kinda wonder if Cricket is gonna wind up being Christ at some point.
