Craiglockhart and Greek Fire are dope as hell

Always love seeing hype for local bands to me on here

 

this has elements of so many different bands that I loved growing up and it somehow sounds nothing like any of them

 

This is mostly pretty great, but good lord that cutesy, cloying last song ended my listen on a note of rolling my eyes.

 

There’s bits of this I like and bits I really dislike

Yeah I’m about halfway through this, some great songwriting on this. And beautiful stuff too

Lmao Greek Fire is the Jesus of suburbia of emo/math-rock

 

The drummer has such a fantastic flair and style to the way he plays

Never heard of island of misfit toys before and just checked them out - they're amazing so thanks for the rec

 

Also absolutely loving this record, so different and fresh. Also did anyone see that they have pressed the vinyl to recycled vinyl meaning the colour is random? Pretty cool

 

ehhhhhhh FYI multiple members of island of misfit toys are known abusers. prob not the best band to start getting into anymore

(dont really feel great turning someone onto them)

 

I always see people compare them to Joyce Manor and I really don't get that comparison
