Yeah probably Without spoiling anything too specific... I heard a rumor that the post credit scene of the finale was added afterwards when they'd already used up all the budget so a certain actor basically volunteered to return without pay
In terms of 2025 big movie franchise expanded universe type streaming shows I definitely did not expect going into the year that I would enjoy this more than the Noah Hawley Alien show. Both were better than the Dune show though, which I got bored by and bailed after 3 episodes.
Finally caught up with this. I thought it was interesting that Pennywise knows who kills him in the future??? Maybe why he hates the losers so much.
Just watched the black spot…what an episode. Heartbreaking death too. But all the stuff with Halloran and the ghosts and shit is awesome. I’m convinced HBO has been perfecting the “cut head in half” shot since Stannis in season 2 of GOT, really nailed it in HOTD, and now are like “yeah we gotta keep using that” lol
Yeah loved the finale here even if I didn’t exactly get everything being a casual fan. Will be watching season 2
Yo the heel turn of the teacher being a pennywise fangirl was super creepy and reminded me of real life TC fanatics.
I'm surprised the reception here is so positive, I thought this was pretty awful. Read like really sloppy fanfic by someone who also wanted to throw some Lord of the Rings shit in there for some reason
https://movieweb.com/stephen-king-i...t-footage-extended-cut-confirmed-development/ I haven't dove back into the show yet, but I would be interested to check this out
The CGI being so fucking bad in the 2nd half of the season in particular really hinders any of the moments that are supposed to be scary for me
Everything with pennywise in the sewer episode was particularly bad. They can’t even make a balloon look real
This was fantastic. Strong performances from the kids and more brutal than I was expecting. Excited to see where they go with season 2.
