Yeah he’s kinda biased

 

The only adaptation of his he truly vocally hated was one of the greatest horror films of all time so yeah lol

 

i think he was out on doctor sleep too iirc

 

On the contrary, he actually went on record that the Doctor Sleep adaptation redeemed the Kubrick adaptation of The Shining.

 

was this for the director's cut? i thought i remembered him disliking the theatrical but walking it back. could be way off though.

Yeah same. I wasn't sold after that first teaser, but the more I see the more I am fully on board.
