I'm prob gonna see this alone tomorrow night even though I have plans to see it with two buddies because they're significant others don't let them leave the house. But I need to see this in a theater full of people goddammit.
I'm super excited because I'm at a film festival in Virginia this week/weekend for a film I produced and they're screening It tomorrow at midnight for anyone attending the festival that wants to go. This is exactly how I want to see this movie.
I remember thinking the clown thing last year was a viral marketing scheme for It and American Horror Story lol. Certainly was a fun few weeks!
Embargo lifted for one full day and it's sitting at a prime 89% on RT. Not only am I excited for this film, the good reviews make me excited for the genre.
When I was a kid, I had a cousin who was terrified by the mini-series (my weakness was Chucky). I'm currently planning on sneaking onto his driveway and tying a red balloon to his car with a note. Now what would be the perfect message to leave on the note? Help. Edit: I've decided on, "You'll float too ________."
"I'm everything you ever were afraid of!" or "Well I'm Pennywise, and you're [cousin's name], so I guess we know each other now!"
Just watched a mom take her 11 year old to see this. Walked in...watched the opening scene and saw that little girl ruined for life. Smh.
Had some issues people/reviews have pointed out already, but those aside, had a blast and absolutely loved this.
