I'm a huge fan of Joel Edgerton. Riley Keough also really impressed me in The Girlfriend Experience.

Kind of bummed that the threat doesn't seem to be a singular creature, but an infection/plague scenario. I just want a well done horror movie about a cryptid or aliens

 

I have no doubts this will be great.

100% on RT. Yes, it's early - but a positive sign nonetheless.

 

I'm so excited for this. Krisha is one of my favorite recent films so I have no doubt it will be amazing. That being said, still wish this wasn't a virus/plague/post-apolcalyptic scenario, would have loved the external threat to be something a little more sinister

As a person who loves most of A24's films, this was disappointing.

 

Why?

I'm so excited - I am just trying to brace myself for the fact that this will be a great movie but likely more atmospheric than outright scary

 

Great atmosphere, solid acting. Thin characters and story. I don't expect A24's horror films to be filled with scares, but this rarely had anything scary or thrilling.
