I’m at a bar right now which may have reminded me that the only scene I NEED to be in the sequel is Ben taking a pint of whiskey to the face after squirting lemon in his eyes. Probably one of my favorite book scenes ever.

They should film this for real. For science.

I think about this scene more than any other

Yeeeesss! I don’t know many people who have read it to even know that it happened but it’s so striking and I can see it perfectly in my head. I’ve thought about testing it at some point but I don’t hate myself enough.

we should tweet Jay Ryan. If twitter can get Weezer to cover Africa we can convince a man to drink whisky on camera

Still really not into McAvoy as Bill but everybody else looks good.

I think McAvoy doesn't completely look like Young Bill, but I think he'll do a good job developing the character further.

I still wish it would've been Amy Adams as Beverly though.

That is the true crime and it will always hurt me. Jessica should have been Audra 100%.

The girl that plays Young Bev plays a baby version of Amy Adams’ character in Sharp Objects and I am absolutely furious haha. I also wanted Chastain as Audra very badly.

Sharp Objects is parallel universe Bev to me and it has been getting me through. I also get a huge Derry vibe from the town which helps a lot.

I can’t figure out what scene that could refer to from the book so I’m wondering if it’s new for this or taking something in a different direction.

I am a big fan of Jessica Chastain, and I am very much looking forward to IT: Chapter 2, but this is a bold claim. Just right off the top of my head things like The Shining, Evil Dead, early Peter Jackson films, and I'm not even thinking of newer films with CGI blood and stuff. Very interesting. It has been a LONG time since I read the book and I have no idea what scene she could possibly be referring to.
