Production started yesterday. Might as well get started on the new thread.

McAvoy posted an unrelated picture saying it was his first day on set, and Chastain posted what appears to be her Beverly haircut.

 

Is there a confirmed cast yet?

 

Excited for this! the first one was my favorite movie of last year!

I don't know if it's the same in the miniseries and novel, but adult Henry plays a pretty crucial role in the second half

 

Yeah, I know. The book is one of my favorites.

But in Muschietti’s Part 1, Bowers outcome is unknown. I think he’ll return but if he doesn’t, it makes sense in this adaptation.

I REALLY hope that's how they open Chapter 2. It would be extremely effective.

I’m so ridiculously excited for this film.

Cast is unreal

 

This whole time I thought it was coming out this year and I was wondering how that was possible if the cast was just selected. 2019 makes much more sense haha. Looking forward to this!
