I'm curious in what goes on next with them, the swift and concise way (from what I remember) that they kicked Tyler out gave me the biggest amount of respect for them.
Same. I don’t follow all of them on social, but Sky at least has continued to be petty vocal about it when Tyler stuff comes up in his comments. They really didn’t kick him out the band for self preservation, you can tell they actually hate his guts
didn't they hint at doing somethin like, a new album with a different vocalist featured on every song? maybe i'm not remembering that correctly but it could be cool!
Yeah I remember this as well. It’s for sure a possibility but I’m kinda hoping that they just do it themselves since neither scenario is great for touring optics anyway
I'm confident pulling a Night Verses by remaining instrumental would work, but I wouldn't mind getting vocals here and there
Yeah, I really liked that they put out an instrumental version of this record so I wouldn’t mind them continuing in that way going forward.
It’s funny, I had a moment the other day where I thought the headstone graphic might be an implication that the band was actually breaking up. But I pretty quickly went back on that and was like, what kind of band would tease a break up lol Well, apparently Issues. That kind of band is Issues.
really gutted beautiful oblivion is a unique and special album and i'm sad they couldn't find a way to make things work without tyler
Not entirely surprised but still a bummer. Curious to see how the shows come to fruition, like who will sing?
Final song. It’s good. I get that the band might not make sense for them anymore, but it’s really a shame because there’s otherwise no reason they wouldn’t be able to continue with Sky on vocals like this
Yo he sounds sick. Had no idea he was a singer really. I’m sure he’s making bank with TOP but would be awesome if he continued with a side project in this style
Their last show in Atlanta is gonna be livestreamed on Veeps then released on vinyl: veeps.com - ISSUES. THE FAREWELL TOUR: LIVE FROM ATLANTA ISSUES FOREVER: LIVE VINYL (PRE-ORDER)
I love Brian and think he's a great vocalist but I really don't think he fits these songs, he can't get to the high bits.
i’m so sad i couldn’t end up traveling to chicago for this one. the snow ruined it lol. i would have looooved to see issues with brian on vocals. i really wish they’d reconsider this and potentially do issues on the side when they get free time once in a while. the new song was enjoyable and if they could bring brian in to record with id love that too. at the very least, im glad they’re going out in a way they feel comfortable with.
https://metalinjection.net/new-musi...joins-bad-wolves-band-streams-new-track-knife AJ has joined Bad Wolves as their Guitarist & Screamer... yikes major downgrade imo.
Just a heads up that they posted all of the farewell show merch online and will not be restocking once it’s gone. There are a few decent looking options in there too Issues | Official Merchandise Store
Oh, and sorry to keep bumping this thread, but I saw that Sky was recently on the Lead Singer Syndrome podcast. It aired little over month ago, not a show I listen to regularly so didn’t see it come through the feed He obviously talks a lot about their decision to move on from Issues as a whole, and makes sure to mention that the three of them are open to collaborating in the future, just not as Issues. AJ has evidently got a really cool solo record in the works The bummer news was that apparently they actually did write a bunch of new stuff and got some exciting singers to track vocals. They were totally gonna do that multi vocalist album thing - there are full songs that exist on hard drives and shared folders. But there wasn’t even a feigned, slight optimism that any of them would ever see the light of day
