Isn't It Romantic (Todd Strauss-Schulson, February 14,2019) Movie

like with The Final Girls, which Todd also did, this works as both as a genre pastiche and a movie in and of itself, but at the same time is still kinda doing the things it's making fun of but with a wink
I could totally see writing this and being like rom coms are the worst and so cliched but also the best
Adam Devine and Rebel Wilson are so charming in this, and like his brother Liam Hemsworth has great comedic timing in a addition to being super handsome
Betty Gilpin was great too and I love that when she's watching a rom com it's The Wedding Singer

 

I might see this, but I also might wait until it’s on HBO or something. Happy to see that it’s getting pretty good reviews.

 

I liked this more than I thought I would. The main cast was great and there were some really good jokes.

Also, the screen occasionally flashed black throughout the entire movie so we got a free movie pass...hello Captain Marvel!
