I get a lot of emotion out of both songs, one just shows the start of a relationship that begins between two people who are both in a dark place and the other shows what happens when that relationship dissolves. Really they are two sides of the same coin as far as I’m concerned.
I love both songs but Church Channel just edges it out for me. I would never choose to listen to Plea on its own, but it’s a great closer to that album. I could listen to Church Channel literally any time, one of my favorite SA songs period.
Also this bracket is going to come down to Yellow Cat vs Cemetery and that decision is going to ruin my life.
