"17 Coked Up Speeding" takes I Don't Think It Is! And now, to pit the winners... Colorblind vs. 17 Coked Up Speeding Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat vs. Night's Song The Church Channel va. Plea Cemetery vs. John McClane
17 Coked Up Speeding Night's Song The Church Channel John McClane Those last two votes were rough - I truly don’t care either way between those two.
Colorblind Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat The Church Channel Cemetery Sucks that the four worst are in the first half and the four best are in the second half.
I really don't understand how anyone is choosing Plea over the Church Channel. I thought maybe I was missing something so I listened to Plea again to refresh my memory and it's just really repetitive and is wholly less unique or as interesting. I feel like a lot of IDOTG is underwhelming.
Can’t believe anyone’s picking a fun but slight jaunt like “Church Channel” over the emotional powerhouse that is “Plea.”
Emotional powerhouse? It's just another song about a guy unable to deal with the troubles of love and wanting his girl to stay with him. Those are a dime a dozen. How many times do you get to hear Hayley Williams say lines like this? "Though you were forlorn in despair With your drugs and your hardcore porn Trust me, those days won't be mourned"
Hey at least both songs feature Hayley :P But yeah, Plea is just a way catchier and better-written song imo and that outro is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite SA tracks for sure
...so are misanthropic songs about people struggling with mental illness. You ever hear the saying, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it?” “Plea” is a bodyslam of sappy, wistful romance and is all the better for it.
