...Is a Real Bracket Bracket

Working out the details as I type. I've never done one of these (pls be patient), but Say Anything was my first favorite band and I love all the positivity I'm seeing on the site surrounding Max/"Daze," so I thought it would be fun to throw one of these together!

Beginning tonight (8-29-18)

The seven rounds will be:

1) Baseball
2) ...Is a Real Boy
3) In Defense of the Genre
4) Say Anything
5) Anarchy, My Dear
6) Hebrews
7) I Don't Think It Is

So basically, I'm not including the Dormroom Demos or lesser-known b-sides from All My Friends Are Enemies because almost two discs of scattered, inconsistent demos would take too much time to properly bracket without much of a chance of one actually winning. (If people feel adamant that we cover the release in full, that can be arranged). Rounds will last 24 hours, opening at 12 am est. Feel free to hang out, discuss your favorites, and invite others to join the fun at any time.

Ohhhh, I was thinking this would be something like that Kanye Madness bracket that went viral earlier this year. This is cool too though.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure I already fucked up by forcing everyone to listen to the full album today lol looks like the album could've/should've been split into two rounds. I'll do that moving forward. But still psyched and thankful for everyone participating, Baseball is a real trip to revisit

 

I think if the full album fits into one bracket why split it up?

 

Just seems easier for people to digest in 24 hours. It's something I noticed in other brackets, but not necessary if people feel they can handle the full album at once
