Yeah that's one I considered putting on there. The subtle instrumentation is incredible. Also, "Free Until They Cut Me Down" just missed too

my brother bought us tickets to see him while im visiting home, but im not very familiar. where should i start aside from shepherds dog?
Our Endless Numbered Days is typically considered the other classic in his catalog. I'd start there, but make a point to listen to "The Trapeze Swinger" too.
awesome, i love the shepherds dog ive just never diven into the rest of his shit. im super excited for the show too
I think you'd really appreciate Kiss Each Other Clean. It's the most he's ever extended his sound and its my favorite of his because of that. I'll always be a bit bummed that he didn't continue down that path.
@sophos34 seriously listen to The Trapeze Swinger asap. it's one of the best songs ever written, no hyperbole.
He's going on tour and is gonna play Our Endless Numbered Days with an orchestra. Tour edit: actually it's only 3 shows
Interesting thread. My high school crush likes this group. Or said so on her facebook at one time. They seem like they’re on the soft rock side.
Spent the day listening to Iron & Wine -- including some records I haven't revisited in ages. Beam really made some of the most beautiful music ever written as his peak, didn't he?
