I haven't liked his records as much lately, but I'm all about this new duets album he did with Jesca Hoop. Streaming on NPR.

Our Endless Numbered Days is a top 5 album for me. I need to check out this duet album.

Didn't even realize this duets album existed until today. I'll definitely need to listen tomorrow. Really didn't enjoy Ghost on Ghost so hopefully this brings me back!

Please be good. Won't be able to listen to that song for a few hours. How is it? What era does it sound like?

He lost me completely with that album.

Yep. I was still in college. I did not like that album. Kiss Each Other Clean was alright. Been almost a decade since his last record that I really loved, though.

The new song is really good. Our Endless Numbered Days is one of my favourite albums ever, so if this album is anything like that (he seems to be suggesting that it is), I'll be very happy.

Ghost on Ghost was horrible. Kiss Each Other Clean did have 4-5 really good songs I still re-visit. Agree though that the last record I loved was The Sheperd's Dog

It's unfair, but his recent work has kind of soured me on his entire catalog. I'm not sure I've spun any of his records in a few years.

That said, if I really sat down to think it out, I'd probably still put Shepherd's Dog on my "Favorites of the 00's" list.

I feel this way too. I don't return to anything other than OEND anymore really. I hope this album can reignite my interest in his music as a whole.

  23. I like Kiss Each Other Clean quite a bit.

I think there's a lot to like about his last two albums, but its hard to top either The Shepherd's Dog or Our Endless Numbered Days. I'm still interested.

I loved Kiss Each Other Clean

Tree By The River might be my all time favorite Iron & Wine song. Half Moon and Big Burned Hand are amazing too. They sound SOOOO much better with just him an acoustic though.

Oh and I liked the new song
