    Yeah it would've been cool to expand on it a little more (I do like the extra stuff they did add), but part of what I like about Invincible War is how quick and disorienting it was. I think that does a lot to put the reader/viewer in the characters' shoes of not having the time to actually adapt to the situation or figure out a plan. Adding more onto it would give you time to get your footing, which I feel like goes against what Kirkman and crew had in mind

    I forget, did Conquest show up this quickly after Invincible War in the comics?

    Yup. That whole sequence was basically beat-for-beat from the comic, pacing-wise

    Just binged all of the third season so far. Super good. Really like how they’re taking time to build out backstories for so many of the characters, especially the villains.

    So assuming that this weekend...

    I’m going to rewatch this week’s episode sometime this weekend. I knew what was coming thanks to me being overzealous and reading too many comic spoilers online, but GODDAMN.
