Oh wow the wait for s3 is much shorter than 1-2

 

Damn I haven't even gotten around to 2 yet lol

 

Really excited for what's to come. The comics get better and better imo. Shit is about to really pop off, assuming they don't try to drag things out too much

 

Could be completely pulling this out of my ass, but I remember Kirkman or someone else involved in the show saying they're planning on around 7 seasons, which feels about right to comfortably cover everything based on the pace they're going so far.

 

Can't believe they omitted Bender himself from that headline

 

Really liked the first 3 episodes. Episode 2 is probably one of my favorite episodes of the series

Yup. First 3 dropped today, then 1 every Thursday through mid-March (no 4 month break this time!)

Great start to the season!

 

Absolutely. Stayed up way later than I should have, watched all 3. Was cool to see a little more backstory to Cecil than in the comics.

Also... Just love Mark and Eve finally together haha

I think people who were disappointed in the slowness of last season are going to enjoy this one a lot. What was built in that season will start to pay off now. Much bigger moments in the works.

 

I'm convinced a lot of the critiques about season 2's pacing have more to do with the release schedule than the actual plot progression through the season. Watching it back without the months long gap, it flies by once you get past episode 2

 

Another solid episode. It's killing me waiting week to week! I've started re-reading the comics from where S3 began for my impatience. It's actually a cool refresher because then I can really notice subtle differences or similarities between the show and comic

 

They got me with the fake credits again, love that bit
loved me some Battle Beast too

yep! Was watching late so I was tired, got confused when there was a cut to credits at like the 30 min mark and had to pause to see how much was left to make sure I wasnt crazy for thinking it was short, then saw there was like 20 min to go. 2nd half was the best part of this one too.
