Wow. This film was beautiful in every aspect. IMAX was a great way to take in the blackhole sequence and all the phenomenal sound mixing and editing. Being 10 years removed from the initial release of this movie, I truly went in blind except knowing about the scene where he cries watching videos of his grown children, but I thought that was the END of the movie. Loved that it was in the middle to show the immediate consequences of their actions on the water planet.
also got to see this the other day. way better than i remember back in 2014. even a little more humorous too. i no longer think this is nolan's worst (i'm not inviting a discussion about that)
My girlfriend had never seen this and thought we were watching Gravity lol. She was like “Sandra Bullock is in this one right?” Anyways she loved it except for the Anne Hathaway love stuff which I thought I was funny. I said that was more or less everyone’s gripe with it ten years ago so I look forward to you totally loving it in 10 years at the 20th anniversary screening.
