Man, I used to love this site when I was a kid. I really liked seeing the list of all the songs on the album and which ones were rated highly.

I used to spend way too much time and money on that website, sucks that it didn't survive its founder.

Wow, haven't visited that site in a while but back in the day pre itunes, that's where I got all my music. Discovered many new bands from Interpunk.

It’s been a long time since I bought something from their site, but I used to get a lot of merch and CDs-they always came through for me. If I recall, they had a rewards system that not many places were doing at that time.

Yes, I know that I shouldn't speak ill of the dead but I bought a record from Interpunk last year. I had to email Bob several times over the span of six months to get the record shipped. I would have just gotten it cancelled and refunded but all you get is store credit if you cancel an order. A week later the credit card I used, which is the only time I used that credit card, was reported used at a Sam's Club in the same town he lived in. Luckily I got everything reversed and just cancelled the credit card and then reported him to the FTC. If you go on Trust Pilot and look up Interpunk there are plenty of other people's reviews about how horrible Interpunk was. It is a shame because in the 2000's it was a great site.

Aw man, that's sad... Being from the UK was sometimes hard to find CD's locally in the 2000's for smaller bands... Remember getting Timing is Everything by Over It sent over from Interpunk and a few others (that's just the one that springs to mind!)

The thing I mainly remember, is that the website carried local bands from the Chicagoland area which I thought was cool. You could get CDs for a decent price, especially if the local band was gone and didn’t have any copies anymore.

I saw this and thought of how bummed I was that I missed the sizes that would fit me when they clearanced Amazing Transparent Man stuff. I googled them to make sure if they were from around Chicago like I remember before commenting and holy shit they are doing a reunion show!

Haha fortuitous timing! It's sacrilegious that after all this time they are pressing Print is Dead but not The Death of the Party.
