I'm not sure if this is really the thread for this, but I don't know where else to post about it...

The new Emancipator record is really good. I'm hype to finally get to see him live this weekend. Anyone else a fan?

 

Yeah I really enjoy them. What is it like to see them in person though? The only other "instrumental" band I've seen in person is RATATAT, and it was cool but not my favorite concert ever probably because I love high-energy type shows.

 

I have no clue what their live show will be like. Probably not that exciting, but I've LOVED "Soon It Will Be Cold Enough" for years, so I was just immediately excited to see he was performing here. I'll report back if I go (which is fairly likely)

edit: I saw DJ Shadow and it was fairly low-energy, but he had some cool visuals behind him so it was pretty entertaining.
