Instagram's feature set is pretty small. They've made strides in their layout I like, but not much for new actions. Multiple account switching was a big step. The changes to the explore tab are fine to me. I find interesting things there. I'd like to see them explore further down that path based on things I actually double tap.
I'm confused. Was the algorithm implemented with the latest update? Is it for the explore page or the main feed?
I'd like a grid view for posts by accounts I follow. That way it'd be a lot easier to catch up after a few days not looking at it
Am I the only one that thinks it's absurd that a picture like this gets plenty of attention? Had I known I could blow up by taking blurry pictures, I would have smudged hot glue on my phone's lens years ago.
I saw on the news this morning due to user outcry they have delayed the algorithm "for more testing." I guess I'll find out once I load Instagram on my new phone this evening.
Mine appears to be the same. I'm sort of looking forward to it. I don't care for most of what I have to scroll past every day. If big events and relevant interests float to the top of my feed, gimme dat.
I agree with Meerkat. I wouldn't follow someome if I didn't want to see their pictures. That makes an algorithm completely irrelevant in my book.
There ain't an art thread about, so just gonna link to my Instagram here (SHAMELESS PLUG BABY) Small doodle I did the other day after a weekend in brighton lol. Recently rediscovered my passion for art so I'm just doing some stuff on the side while I look to get into graphic design work. On that note, which forum would be best for posting an art thread?
I dislike how I can't see how long ago something was posted anymore on my phone. Any workaway around this?
