the ui is great - I don't mind the icon it's not great but it's better than before

 

It's a nice change, but I'm not all that crazy about it. Everything seems to be in the same places from what I've seen so far. I'd be interested to get a first impression of the layout from someone who's never used the app previously.

 

echoing everyone else. UI is clean, icon is trash.

 

The icon is now flat, I don't care what it looks like.

 

Haha, when I first downloaded it I thought I hit the wrong app. So hideous.

 

I can ride wit' it- dig it!

 

I don't like how colorless the app is now. And I strongly dislike the logo

 

I looked for a solid 10 seconds trying to find the new icon.

 

Woof. I might have to remove Instagram from my home screen to stop seeing this thing.

 

My initial reactions to UI changes are generally negative but I've learned that's mostly just due to the abrupt change in familiarity. I like the new UI. The icon is weird. Especially when it's amid other app icons like FB, twitter, snapchat, etc, which all use the same style, more or less.
