just watched the rishi episode in season 3. that definitely feels like a level up moment for this show.
I'm on season 2 now, and probably an unpopular opinion but I enjoyed season 1 more. I liked that it was trashy, hot people having sex and doing drugs. As it's trending more highbrow and serious, I'm getting kind of bored
Wonder if its my age, changing tastes or the quality of the show during season 4 but I'm now really tired of the sex scenes.
Seriously. I’ve been vocal about not loving Never Enough but that drop was perfect and I had a huge smile on my face.
Very disappointed in that finale in the context of a tremendous season up to this point. It felt like it was mostly unconcerned with how it concluded the series and more about setting up the next series. The Tender fallout was so undercooked vs the magnificence of that plot in the previous episodes. Also find that the Yas/Henry storyline and acting has been so superlative that the Harper side of things has become dull with inferior writing and performances. Probably something I'd say about the entire season. The internal conflict within the Muck/Tender-verse was so well executed that we didn't need the SternTao/Tender conflict, in my opinion. Also the final moments with Yas felt a little too zeitgeisty with the right-wing politics AND the sexual misdeeds of high society thing.
I really liked it. I mean, obviously I was horrified by it, but it’s a totally logical place for that character to go and sets up a fun Harper vs Yas final season.
I do not watch Industry, maybe I'll pick it up someday, but I saw this interview and I like Kit so I watched, an 1. Lol at the American accent he does for two words at one point, and 2. The scene they showed from the show gave me big Brian Cox/Logan Roy vibes lol
