how did I miss "Real Pain", that bridge is fucking unbelievable

 

fucking wow this exceeding my expectations

 

starting this with "17" and then immediately switching everything up after is so bold. love it

This is great. I def hear some Snail Mail on Die/Cry

 

This is definitely a way more diverse record than their debut and probably all the better for it. Nothing hit me quite the same way as when I first heard “How I Get Myself Killed” or “Home Team” but it’s an undeniable level up. So good.

 

Checked this out because of how much I love Hold U, not disappointed in the slightest that nothing else really sounds like it. This is a fucking good record. Die/Cry is a punch directly to the heart

 

mj is their guitarist and puts out fuzzy folk stuff. there is also an album from earlier this year.

I listened to this once and it wasn't as immediate as ILMM but I feel like it will grow on me. It's certainly very impressive.
