Franchises like this or Rambo are going to be some of the earliest experiments in hologram actors.

 

He was good in 4, I’d love to see him back.

 

He's a good actor, but the character doesn't do much for me. I feel like this movie won't be beholden to Crystal Skull though.

 

Please for the love of god get rid of CGI and do it all practical - looked horrible in 4

 

Doing everything practically is a terrible idea. CGI, like anything else in film, can be done well or be done poorly.

 

I say adopt TFA approach of bringing back a heavier focus of practicals but using CGI when necessary. Also no swinging on vines with monkeys

 

Or just don't do it horribly like it was in 4

 

The 2000's had a lot of filmmakers trying to do way too much with CGI. The technology is not only better but filmmakers have generally found more seamless ways to put it in their films.

 

There is way more CGI in most movie scenes than most movie goers would ever guess

 

Yeah, it’s just a matter of whether it’s good or not.

Let's just not do this one.

Stockholders.

 

Would it even do that well, though? The last good one was over thirty years ago. It feels like it will be diminishing returns.

 

Let this die and just give us Uncharted and hope for the best.

 

4 did really well.

 

It now has a pretty notorious reputation, and it is another two decades of people not growing up with the originals.
