  2. Dang, I just listened to that whole 16 minute video without realizing that the song WAS NOT PLAYED.

    Boooooo

    I'd bet whatever you listened to was better than the actual song.

  5. I don't know, I like it well enough! I've never been a big Incubus fan, so it doesn't bother me whatever style they choose to pursue.

    "Absolution Calling" is better than this.

    It's pretty good

    It's the only great song off Trust Fall in my opinion. The rest is alright musically with terrible lyrics.

    This is...meh.
    Every time these guys put something out nowadays I want to like it but don't. Their last actual enjoyable album for me was Light Grenades.

    That record was pretty sweet. If Not Now, When? has some amazing songs (Thieves, Promises, Switchblade, Adolescents) but it's definitely lackluster as a whole. Trust Fall was underwhelming but ok I suppose. Hopefully "8" brings them back to glory but this song is not the best indicator of that..

    I was listening to Make Yourself earlier. Man, there are some good tunes on there.

    Stellar and The Warmth always get me.

    Yeah, I freaking love The Warmth. Also the high energy of "Make Youself" into "Drive" is so damn great. Also, I really like "I Miss You".

    As far as Crow (quite possibly my all time favorite Incubus record) my favorites are;

    "Pistola", "Here in My Room", "Sick Sad Little World", "Smile Lines", and "Made for TV Movie".

    Nice, worshiped Incubus in late high school/early college and at 28 they always pique my interest.

    Cool. Unpredictable but catchy. Brandon on point. "Dig" is still one of my top ten songs ever, so I always hold out hope.

    I think it's their best. They also had some rad really intricate songs on the Halo 2 soundtrack and I was super stoked they would continue down the proggy experimental path after Crow but they didn't. So many "what ifs" have gone through my head. I still like Light Grenades but in my mind that album should have been more Mars Volta De-Loused sounding as they had been fucking with that sound on Halo. Look up Follow. Amazing track.

    I loved Incubus all the way through Light Grenades. Then they just tanked for me.
